The Height of Fashion, Under $300

Ah, shoes. My first love, my longest love. There’s nothing like putting on a pair of seriously sexy heels. You walk different, you feel different; you look taller and thinner. It’s no wonder that so many women myself included worship at the temple of towering stiletto where flats are often considered sacrilegious. Both Report and Dolce Vita have come out with some seriously smoldering styles that I am happy to uh…report on. Talk about show stopping! The best thing about these beauties is that they will take you right into fall. Today's post is brought to you by our lovely affiliate, 80’s purple.com. Click here to visit 80's Purple dot com.

Note: I am having an issue with 80s purple deep links right now so unfortunately this collage isn’t shop-able. I worked on this before I went to Toronto (in MAY) and it has just been sitting and rotting with the rest of my unpublished file graveyard.

Hello lovelies,

Sorry for the NO updates, but summer happened! I have also been busy traveling a bit and revamping my fashion styling portfolio. Last night I worked with a great team! Thanks so much to Luis, Warren, Julia, Rodney and Erin for their hard work. The entire shoot was captured live for BlogTV and we had a blast. It was great to get instant feedback from all the viewers. I am super excited about the images we created and cannot wait to show all of you the fruits of our labor.

At the shoot, I had the great pleasure of meeting Erin Scandalous, a beauty blogger from Washington, DC. Check out her website (http://www.scandalousbeautyonline.com). She has content galore including wonderful video makeup tutorials and fabulous contests with awesome prizes. When you stop by, be sure to tell her Queen of Preen sent you. She is going to publish a story about the aforementioned shoot soon so look out for that. For even more online fun, check out the photographer's website here (http://www.luisaragon.com). Luis is not only a stellar photographer, but an amazing person in general. His current recent work listings were styled by yours truly, hooray! Another must view is the the makeup artist's site (http://www.warrenbbeautiful.blogspot.com) I know I said this already, but I really loved the group last night. This industry often gets a bad rap (sometimes deserved) so it is especially refreshing to work with people that are as humble and kind as they are talented.

I've been compiling behind the scenes footage from various shoots over the past few months. I can't wait to share all my videos and pictures for you. Be sure to subscribe to my youtube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/QueenofPreen) so that you know the moment I update with new videos. Speaking of which, thank you to all my subscribers and readers for your support, e-mails, comments and encouragement. Your kind words, suggestions, and notes mean so much so please keep them coming. Don't forget to subscribe to queen of preen in order to receive free update notifications and get on our mailing list to be automatically entered for future contests and fashionable prizes. For fashionistas on the go, you can also have updates sent directly to your mobile via plusmo by clicking here: add queen of preen to your mobile phone.

Before I go, I wanted to show you some shots from a photo shoot I styled in Miami. The photos are by yet another amazing photographer, Paul Cobo (http://www.paulcobophotography.com) We had such a good time shooting at and around the beach. I love the way the shots turned out, the colors are so vibrant and I think Paul did gorgeous work. I 'd love to know what you guys think of the styling. I hope you enjoy the photos and I look forward to sharing lots more work with you soon.

There were lots of onlookers during the shoot and Jesus asked for a picture :) He was super sweet!
