“Creativity requires the courage to let go of certainties.” –Eric Fromm

Let me preface this entry by saying that A) I often have eccentric tastes when it comes to what I wear. I like to be different, try new things, and push the fashion envelope. B) This dress is not for everyone, but it’s striking, fun, and flirty. I absolutely adore these cute red peep-toe stilettos with gorgeous pinstripes in alternating colors and sleek silver piping. Needless to say, you should keep all your accessories as simple as possible when wearing this dress/top. Silver hoops look very sleek with the ensemble and I believe they’re all you need in the jewelry department. If you’re not willing to shell out one hundred and eighty big ones for the purse (though I think it’s worthy!) Target has some great new clutches that are both economical and stylishly elegant.

This dress is extremely short, I know, and for those of you not willing to bare so much skin, these leggings from Free People are an excellent addition and compromise. I’m not usually an advocate for leggings, but these are unique and pretty. I like the length and the button detailing on the sides is a wonderful touch.

Lovely leggings.
